Over the past decade, I have been involved in numerous projects, many of which were designed for internal use in the fields of betting, sports, and scouting. These projects, while not visible to the public, played a crucial role in enhancing our internal operations and providing valuable insights. However, there are also a significant number of projects that were developed for external users. These projects have reached a global audience, being utilized by millions of users across the world.

  Idea

  UFC matches often happen at night for Europeans. Fights have no upfront time frame, so the start of the next match is very unpredictable. FightAlarm is an app that keeps an eye on fights for you. By simply marking fights that you want to watch, an alarm will wake you up when they start. In case you still sleep through it, you still have a chance to see the winners.

  Challenge

  The app is very simple to use; the challenge was in the design. Producing something attractive with just some basic text data was something new for me. I was also thinking of a night usage for sleepy users. Bold colors and a big UI were the key to the satisfaction of users and the client.

  Idea

  There are many people who get shivers down their spines when they see a long text. When it comes to cooking, keeping track of long recipes is a nightmare. I have adjusted a WordPress blog into a cookbook that saves recipes in a whole new way. Each step in a new line keeps a clean overview of what step of the recipe you are on. The web app helps me remember recipes and the steps needed to produce tasty food.

  Challenge

  The idea came from the programming world, where I found a connection between a recipe and writing programs. By reducing steps to the bare minimum, I was able to create the fundamentals of cooking. By adding new recipes, I am constantly testing if there are some missing steps or unwritable recipes.

  Idea

  Modern pets have many needs and different lifestyles. This app will remind you of any need that your pet will have. It also serves as a guide for a pet-sitting person, in case your pet needs to go somewhere. They have the entire pet’s lifestyle in one place. The app has the potential to become a digital pet ID and service book, but there are legal limits.

  Challenge

  The challenge of the app was to produce something that does not exist yet, so there was no inspiration to copy anyone at that time. To create a full system with all possible needs for the pets took more than 9 years of constant adjusting and adding new ideas. Today it is a full-blown company idea, just waiting on a hard drive.

  Who doesn’t hate emails? The Campus app was produced by Sportradar so people could use it for work-related things, but in a more pleasant way. It offers a daily schedule timeline so you always know what’s next. Besides that, it is also an ordering system for a local restaurant connected with a kitchen system. Most importantly, it delivers important news instantly and allows employees to keep track of their activities.

  Challenge

  When you are trying to merge all the tools you already own, there is a massive constraint on what APIs each tool offers. The task was to find a silver lining through all available data, connect it in a simple and meaningful pattern, and create a smart app.

  Idea

  Weather is becoming more and more unpredictable. But many times we are overwhelmed with information that is not important. Rain Radar is a simple weather app that provides crucial information in a friendly visual way. Not only does the data show a real picture of the weather, but it also allows us to imagine where the winds are blowing, clouds are moving, and where it will rain next.

  Challenge

  This project was merely a design test. When Material 3 came out, I wanted to test if I could produce a fully automated design that is easy to maintain, color, and adapt. RainRadar was at that time a perfect study case to create a facelift on its user interface.
